The bronze pet paw project began with the passing of my grandmother in law’s beloved one eyed cat, Alice. After receiving her generic plaster paw print, I wanted to create a lasting, unbreakable memory. I made a mold on the plaster and carried out the lost wax process. The second paws belonged to my first Boxer, Bruce Almighty. This time I planned ahead and pressed his paws into claw. I wanted to make something unique, so i cast a negative (relief) of his paws through the lost wax process. Now both pets will be remembered forever.
