About Me
Creating art has always connected me to the people I love most. My passion began with my family, which has propelled my art career; from the first hand-sketch my mom gave me when I was 5, to collaborating with my sister creating music playlists and halloween costumes. I continue to find myself surrounded by people who share the same drive in creating meaningful art.
My professional art career started working at a concrete statuary, where I learned to make molds, but I was craving something more. I was introduced to a bronze casting foundry. I began knowing little about bronze casting, only knowing how to sculpt and make molds.
Throughout my last seven years I learned The Lost Wax Process which includes: mold making, wax working, bronze casting, metalwork and patination. This ancient process has helped drive my creativity and knowledge of sculpting; over these years I have shadowed my fellow artists and mentors allowing me to develop my own voice in my sculptures. I have strengthened my portrait work along the way and handcraft each one of my sculptures.
Working with many mediums such as wood, epoxy, acrylic paint, foam, digital design, and other multi-medium projects, I strive to create unique works of art which inspire depth and imagination.
